Canadian crypto exchange QuadrigaCX is filing for protection from creditors, a step taken to avoid bankruptcy. In a statement posted to its website nearly a week after the portal became inaccessible, the exchange announced that it had filed “an application for creditor protection in accordance with the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act,” as part of a move to “address” financial issues. The operator of Germany’s second-largest stock exchange, Boerse Stuttgart Group, has launched a mobile app for cryptocurrency trading. After a year in development, the firm announced Thursday, the Bison app is now available on iOS 9+ and Android 4.4+ devices in Germany, and will allow users to trade in bitcoin (BTC), ethereum (ETH), litecoin (LTC) and XRP and fund their accounts with euros. Binance Users Can Now Pay for Crypto With Credit Cards

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by adjusted trading volume, has just made it easier for users to buy cryptocurrencies. The exchange announced Thursday that it has partnered with Israel-based payments processing firm Simplex to enable purchases with Visa and MasterCard credit cards.
